Welcome to the WWW SAP and ABAP/4 Resources Page. This is my collection of useful SAP links which I have discovered during my browsing on the Internet. If you know of any other SAP link of general interest please write to tell me and maybe I will add it here. This page also includes a few SAP-type graphics which you might want to take copies of while you are here.

An Introduction to German for ABAP/4 Programmer The purpose of this paper is to introduce German to ABAP/4 programmers who may be curious about the language which appears from place to place in their work.

The SAP FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions The Frequently Asked Questions publication for the SAP R/2 and R/3 suites of business applications manufactured by SAP AG. A very nice and well maintain faq.

The SAP R/3 Release 4.0 - Information Center With R/3 Release 4.0, ABAP has evolved into a full-blown, object-oriented programming language. ABAP Objects, the new generation of the ABAP virtual machine, supports new interfacing technologies and strengthens interoperability with external object architectures. R/3 Release 4.0 can manage the entire value chain from point of sale to point-of-production. Look at the Titan Technologies R/3 Release 4.0 press release for a summary of the new features.

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Supersite Bookstore. de.alt.comp.sap-r3 This SAP newsgroup is a little obscure and my news provider does not have it. However the Deja News enterprise has an excellent html retrieved form of it. Although de.alt.comp.sap-r3 newsgroup is a German newsgroup most of the postings to it are in English. Two other news groups where SAP issues are discussed are the moderated comp.soft-sys.business.sap and comp.client-server. These links both use the Deja News engine. The archived postings of comp.soft-sys.business.sap are available from the Realtime USA web site.

The SAP user group mailing English list is called SAP-R3-L. You can find out more about it from the SAP, MIT and The INTERNET page. There is also SAP's free e-mail newsletter SAPflash.

Allen Davis & Associates A series of essays dealing with SAP hiring. Whew, that a really impressive level of salary they are talking about. I'm sorry I missed that. See Jon Reed's The Finer Points of SAP Contracting as an example.
