Sustainable Peacebuilding Network (SPN)
Directors: Roland Paris (Univ. of Ottawa) and Timothy Sisk (Univ. of Denver)
The Sustainable
Peacebuilding Network (SPN) is an international research initiative involving
more than 20 scholars examining the requirements for sustainable peace in
countries emerging from civil wars.
The project is co-sponsored by the University of Ottawa's Centre for
International Policy Studies and the University of Denver's Center for
Sustainable Development and International Peace. It is supported by a grant from
the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
The Project is an extension of the Research Partnership on Postwar Statebuilding
(RPPS), which completed its work in early 2008.
