I submitted an Access to Information request to DND in April 2008 for the following:

· “Copies of any and all public opinion surveys conducted in Afghanistan among the Afghan population from 1 January 2006 to 5 April 2008. Please provide full results for each survey including any notes on methodology.”

In response to my request, I received the following four, heavily redacted documents from DND:

· Kandahar Province Survey – Summary of Results (date of survey redacted)

· Kandahar Province Survey – Wave 2 Summary (date of survey redacted)

· Kandahar Province Survey – Wave 3 Summary (date of survey redacted)

· Kandahar Province Survey – Wave 4 Summary (date of survey redacted)
