Statutory Interpretation

Legislation is not complete when it is drafted and brought into force, its meaning can grow and change as it is interpreted by academics, bureaucrats, citizens, enforcement agents, and judges. Legal drafters must understand current styles in interpretation in order to draft legislation that functions as its creators intend.
