INTRODUCTION
Multiple
Interventions for Community Health
is a research, education and mentoring program.
The research program
is housed within the Interventions Cluster, Institute
of Population Health, University
of Ottawa. Affiliated research units include the Élisabeth
Bruyère Research Institute, and the Community
Health Research Unit.
The education and mentoring
program is offered as part of a CHSRF/CIHR
Nursing Chair award held by Dr.
Nancy Edwards.

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has legislated responsibility for delivering public health services including health protection, disease and injury prevention control of communicable diseases, family health services and responding to public health services.

The building on Bruyère Street was renamed the Élisabeth Bruyère Health Centre, dedicated to treating chronically ill and ambulatory patients. The Villa Marguerite nursing home was founded in 1988 and is located on two floors within the Élisabeth Bruyère Health Centre |
