Methods of Evaluation |
Students taking the course for credit (ie. University of Ottawa law students) will be required to complete a series of assignments over the course of the semester. The assignments and their corresponding value are as follows:
- Web Site Agreement (20%)
- Terms of Use (15%)
- Employment Letter Agreement (10%)
- Corporate Structure Memo (15%)
- Negotiation of term sheet (20%)
In addition, 20% will be allocated toward in-class and online participation (20%).
Due to the nature of the course, some assignments will be used for discussion purposes either online or in-class. Assignment deadlines will be announced with the assignment handout and will be strictly enforced.
Note that class attendance is mandatory.
All classes will be held in CBY C206.
