More and more students are incorporating information they find on the
Web
into their class assignments without evaluating the credibility of the site. Working
directly from a bilingual Web site we have created, this interactive session will provide
participants with the necessary tools to critically evaluate Web sites. First offered
successfully at this year’s annual Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher
Education (STLHE) conference at Mount Allison University, this workshop will enable
participants to aid their students in determining the reliability of research found on the
Web.
