Job Experience





I was born in Tehran, Iran. I received my Bachelor (BSc) in 1993 and Master(MSc) in1996 from Civil Engineering Department in Sharif University of Technology. Since January 2004, I have been a civil engineering PhD candidate, research and teaching assistant in University of Ottawa. I work under supervision of Professor Murat Saatcioglu.

I worked part time as a research engineer in International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology, Tehran from 1993 to1994. Then, I worked as a part time researcher and dam engineer while construction of the Karkheh great embankment dam in Iran Water and Power Development Company from 1994 to 1996 and continued as an expert and researcher focused mostly on the dam plastic concrete cutoff wall; the greatest ever built in the world, in Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineers full time from 1996 to 1998 and part time from 1998 to the end of 2003. In the mean time, I was a part time Dam Construction course lecturer in Power and Water Institute of Technology in Tehran from 1999 to 2001. On 1998, some of my friends and I established a new research engineering company, Sadr Sazeh. I involved on civil engineering aspects of three great dam construction projects -Karkheh, Karun3 and Masjed Soleiman- and some other great civil engineering projects.

I have had a list of more than 50 presentations and publications.
